Reasoned choice is what allows me to live in good health. It’s an interesting idea because what if you’ve lost confidence in your reasoned choice. I don’t feel like reasoned choice is something that’s always right. Unless it means we can choose how we respond and we respond stoically. I feel like I’ve made reasoned choices that haven’t worked out before. Maybe that’s the reframe. I made my choice and at the time felt it was reasoned.

A Simple Way To Measure Our Days

Simply put it’s to try to improve each day. Work towards perfection even though we will never reach it. Kind of like golf. Trying to get better each day and learning and growing.

Striving for a better self before I go. This is something I like about stoicism. There is no end. There is always more things to improve upon.

Use today because our lives our not forever. It’s a big vague. I understand the concept of giving it your all and living like it’s your last but what does that mean? Is it to enjoy life or is to do something productive.

Life goes on. I think about this a lot when I’m pondering the idea of leaving a company. They’ll continue to operate without me. I’m not special.
