I am blogging everyday (or nearly everyday) on The Daily Stoic.

Cato the Younger was a Roman politician. He is not remembered for what he wrote down, because he didn’t write anything down. His philosophical teachings lived in the minds of the people he touched. I think of role models. I’ve listed mine before as some guiding factor in my life. The concept is their actions and word leave an impact. What I hadn’t thought about trying was using those role models as a view point to get feedback on my choices in life. A similar concept is, “What would Jesus do?”
