Daily Stoic(s)

March 19, 2021

I am blogging everyday (or nearly everyday) on The Daily Stoic.

Yesterday - Pay What Things Are Worth

I’m not a big trinket person. I learned this growing up. I’d want stuff buy it and then lose it or break it or never use it. That accumulated to a point where when we moved from South Carolina to Tennessee we had a ton of stuff we don’t use. I still have things from my childhood. Some I’m hoping turns into value because of time. Others are a bit special to me but ultimately not worth a whole lot. Otherwise I would pull them out more.

Today - Cowardice As A Design Problem

Have a plan. Not having one makes things tough. I’m often thinking two to three steps ahead on a lot of scenarios in my life. That has helped a lot in my life. It can also be a waste of energy and worry. I’m trying to apply it more sparingly to scenarios that may play out.
