Show, Not Tell, What You Know

April 24, 2021

I am blogging everyday (or nearly everyday) on The Daily Stoic.

I was just thinking about this idea recently. I have a good team working for me. A large reason for that is because I spend a lot of time investing in them. I communicate with them regularly. I coach. Most importantly I set the bar high for hiring. This hasn’t always sit well when I explain my philosophy to people. I’ve learned that in order for others to see that benefit I must continue to hire well and continue to try and get the best out of the people that work for me. Maybe then when people take notice they’ll ask me how I’m doing it.
