Daily Stoic(s)

August 3, 2020

I am blogging everyday (or nearly everyday) on The Daily Stoic.

Yesterday - Make The Words Your Own

Actions speak louder than words. Today’s stoic isn’t about authorship it’s about living by the things we preach. Even if they’re attributed to other people and we edit them as long as we live the words they are our own.

Today - Take Charge And End Your Troubles

The mind is designed to help us rule with reason. There are also things designed to manipulate the mind. The biggest thing I am working on is not staying up late playing video games until the wee hours of the morning. My mind will often make up excuses for continuing to play. Right now I’m working on being more mindful when those things come up. It’s not easy but something I know I can improve and eventually master.
