I am blogging everyday (or nearly everyday) on The Daily Stoic.

Work is only a part of life. I have a good grasp on this concept. Early in my career when we started having kids and struggled financially, I put a lot of time into getting our family into a better place. That meant investing time and money into conferences and extracurricular activities in my industry. It’s worked out well for me. I’ve recognized that I no longer need to put that time in. That I should spend more time with family and friends enjoying life. In the end we all age and eventually pass away.
