Test Your Impressions

March 31, 2020

I am blogging everyday (or nearly everyday) on The Daily Stoic.

Hold your senses suspect. I had a moment last night where I was ready to stay up longer than I did. I was playing a video game and listening to a podcast I really enjoy. The podcast was at a really interesting moment. I felt the urge to stay up and continue playing video games and continue listening. I instead took a step back from those feelings and made the decision to go to bed. I was quite pleased with myself this morning and you know what I’m about to jump back into the podcast and play some video games. I think the staying up late is a case of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). I’ve started to identify this and can start to adjust to the feeling.
