Daily Stoic(s)

August 24, 2021

I am blogging everyday (or nearly everyday) on The Daily Stoic.

Yesterday - Consider Your Failings Too

I’ve come to realize that sometimes it’s on me when I feel wronged. Usually there’s a reason the other person did it. It might not be a good one but there’s a reason.

Today - A Strong Soul Is Better Than Good Luck

The stoic talks about building resilience. I feel like I’m failing at this with certain things in my life. I succumb to impulses and don’t push myself to better. Thinking on that I do feel like I am making progress towards resilience. I work in the morning when I get to work. This is meant to be a form of meditation and a way to start my day and get prepared. That 40 mins could be spent working and getting more things done but at what cost. I feel my resilience might be less. Maybe I am building resilience one day at a time.
